PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police will soon give an update on a deadly shooting that occurred in the city Saturday night.
The department has scheduled a news conference for 11:15 a.m. Monday.

Officers responding to John Donigian Memorial Park for reports of a shooting found a 19-year-old who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, a memorial was set up for the victim with candles and balloons.
No word on any suspects or arrests.
This marks the city’s sixth homicide of the year.
