WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt collapsed during an event Thursday morning at City Hall, according to Valley Breeze editor Ethan Shorey.
Shorey, who was at the news conference, said Baldelli-Hunt was taken away in an ambulance.
The 10:30 a.m. event was to commemorate Organ Donation Month.
Baldelli-Hunt’s condition and the cause of her collapse are unclear at this time.
