There is a new crosswalk on Harrison Avenue in Newport, RI, as seen in the included image. According to city officials, however, they did not install the crosswalk and it poses a safety hazard as it covers the stop bar at the Roseneath Avenue intersection. Crews will be removing it soon, but caution is urged in the area for drivers and pedestrians.
