In Raynham, Massachusetts, the husband of Erpharo Gilbert, who died in a hit-and-run incident, believes detectives will track down the responsible driver. Gilbert was driving on Route 24 on Monday night when another car suddenly changed lanes and crashed into hers, forcing her car into a concrete barrier. The driver who caused the accident fled the scene before Gilbert’s car was hit by another vehicle and burst into flames, killing her instantly. Gilbert’s husband, Jean Marie Coquillon, said that his wife loved helping others and was in the process of getting a license to practice social work. He also believes that his wife might still be alive if the driver who hit her had stayed at the scene. Coquillon has a clear message for the driver responsible, stating that, “They will find you, and you will pay.” Massachusetts State Police urge witnesses to contact them with any information about the crash.
