Providence is reintroducing the Eat, Play, Learn PVD program, which provides free meals to children under 18 at schools, parks, recreation centers, and pools starting on June 26. In addition, the city’s summer learning program will begin on July 10, offering free breakfast and lunch to eligible students, along with transportation. All-day summer recreation camps will also be available, with nearly 2,000 spots for $5 per week. Teenagers who want to work can find over 700 summer jobs paying $15 per hour at PVDSummerJobs.com. To sign up for these programs, families can attend the Summer Opportunities Fair on April 29 in addition to signing up online starting that day. Visit eatplaylearnpvd.com to learn more.
