Horace Mann Hall, home to the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development at Rhode Island College, is now open after undergoing renovations funded by a $70 million bond approved by voters in 2018. The project included six new classrooms, three seminar rooms, additional common areas, offices, a new roof, and tech upgrades. Governor Dan McKee praised the new building as a “21st-century education” facility that will prepare future educators for the classrooms of today and tomorrow. Two art installations are also planned for the building.
