Massachusetts State Police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the death of Erpharo Gilbert, a 46-year-old Raynham resident. The accident occurred on Route 24 when a 2008 Scion tC collided with a Honda Accord, causing it to crash into the median and concrete barrier before coming to a stop. The Scion left the scene, and a Ford Maverick subsequently crashed into the back of the Honda, causing it to catch on fire. The driver of the Ford, a 23-year-old Brockton man, was unharmed. Route 24 was closed for four hours but has reopened. The authorities are still attempting to locate the Scion driver.
