The basketball player from Providence College who allegedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend over the weekend is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning. Alyn Breed, 21, was held at the Adult Correctional Institutions and faces several gun charges and driving without the owner’s consent. The domestic incident occurred off-campus early Saturday morning, according to Providence police. The college has suspended him from the team and all other athletic department activities. Although he announced his intentions to return to the team under new head coach Kim English last week, PC will fully cooperate with the police during the investigation, according to a statement released over the weekend. This is an evolving story, and updates will be available soon.
