A storm system caused devastating tornadoes in parts of the South and Midwest, killing at least 11 people. The tornadoes destroyed homes, businesses, and entire towns, leaving residents in shock. In Arkansas, four people died in the small town of Wynne, which was left without power and full of debris. In Illinois, the roof of the Apollo Theatre collapsed during a heavy metal concert, killing one person and injuring 28. Tornadoes also killed people in Indiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Little Rock area. The storm system also brought blizzard conditions to the Upper Midwest and wildfires to the southern Plains, causing widespread damage and power outages. Crews battled wildfires in Oklahoma and Kansas, and some residents were evacuated.
