Speidel, a well-established jewelry store and watch repair center that was founded in 1904, has returned to Rhode Island. Its first headquarters was opened in Providence in 1912. Speidel’s CEO, Gennaro Cerce, states that the new store is “service-oriented,” offering timepieces, watch bands, jewelry, and on-site engraving. Cerce expressed gratitude towards Rhode Island community members who shared warm memories of Speidel, making the store’s return even more meaningful. Located in Wayland Square, the store officially opened on Thursday, with Mayor Brett Smiley expressing his gratitude towards Speidel’s dedication to the city’s stability. “This business has been here for generations and is part of what makes Providence special,” he said, wishing the store all the best for its endeavor. The images are kept intact.
