Good morning! Overnight, a strong cold front swept through, bringing brief snow and an unseasonably chilly air mass. A gusty northwest wind will add to the chill, with sustained wind speeds of 10-15mph and gusts up to 25mph. If you’re heading to the Red Sox Opening Day game this afternoon, be sure to bundle up! Tonight, clear skies and diminishing winds will lead to a cold night with lows in the mid to upper 20s by dawn on Friday.

Friday will start off dry with limited sunshine, but clouds will quickly roll in and showers will arrive by the end of the afternoon. Rain is expected by 4-5PM. Highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s, and Friday night will be breezy and milder with scattered showers likely. Temperatures in the 40s in the evening will rise to near 50 by dawn on Saturday, accompanied by late night coastal fog.

This weekend, showers are likely to continue into Saturday. Rain will be widespread in the morning, and then more scattered in the afternoon. A few thunderstorms may even be possible later in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the upper 50s to low 60s, with a sustained southwest wind around 15-20mph during the day and occasional gusts up to 35-45mph, especially near the coast. Rain will taper off on Saturday night, with cooler but drier air returning for Sunday.
