Skills for Rhode Island’s Future (SkillsRI), a non-profit, statewide, workforce intermediary, is organizing a Health & Human Services Career Day Event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center in Providence. This event aims to educate and inspire Rhode Islanders who are looking for a career in the health and human services industry, including high school students who are looking to explore careers, educators who are looking to support students interested in careers in the field, CTE teachers, and adults who are looking for jobs or looking to switch careers. The jobs available in this industry include psychology, direct service professionals, healthcare, social work, correctional treatment specialists, and public health educators.
