The Boston Celtics dominated the San Antonio Spurs with a final score of 137-93 on Sunday night. Jaylen Brown led the victory with 41 points and 13 rebounds while Jayson Tatum was sidelined due to a left hip contusion. The win moved Boston 1.5 games behind Milwaukee for the Eastern Conference’s best record. Malcolm Brogdon added 20 points and nine assists for Boston, while Derrick White contributed 19 points and eight rebounds. Zach Collins scored 21 points for San Antonio, who was without Jeremy Sochan and Keldon Johnson. Brown was hit in the face during the game but came back stronger, scoring 13 of his 26 first-half points afterward. Brown was taken out with a standing ovation with 6:34 remaining in the game. The Spurs lost all four games of their road trip.
