The RhodyTHON, a student-run dance marathon, is hosting its sixth annual event at Mackal Field House in URI. The purpose of the fundraising event is to benefit children undergoing treatment at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. In the past, the event has had nearly 1,000 participants who danced for 10 hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. RhodyTHON has raised over $600,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospital at Hasbro to date, and this year’s goal is to raise $75,000.
