The PVDFest is set to return to downtown Providence this year, according to Providence Mayor Brett Smiley. The free outdoor arts festival, which first debuted in 2015, will gather vendors, performers, and artists in the Creative Capital from September 8 to 10 to conclude the summer season. Smiley expressed his excitement for the local artists’ creative talents and encouraged everyone to join the festival with their families and friends. PVDFest returned this year after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Interest forms for artists, performers, vendors, and volunteers are available on the PVDFest website for notification during the event planning process.
