Police in Fairhaven, Massachusetts have arrested Robert McWilliams, a New Bedford resident, for allegedly throwing a woman into a campfire on Monday night. McWilliams is facing charges including assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, intimidation of a witness, and assault with intent to kill. Responding to a report of a suspicious person, officers found the woman suffering from burns to her upper body, who reported that McWilliams had attacked her in the woods and thrown her into the fire.
