A group of dolphins were spotted feeding in Mount Hope Bay, north of the Mount Hope Bridge by staff of Rhode Island’s Department of Environmental Management (DEM) who were carrying out routine shellfish water quality monitoring. The DEM shared a video of the dolphins on social media, appearing to follow a large group of baitfish. They encouraged boaters to be cautious and to give marine wildlife space to avoid collisions.
