YouTube TV is increasing its subscription price by $8, raising the monthly fee from $64.99 to $72.99 for the Base Plan, according to an email sent to its customers. The change will take effect on April 18th for current subscribers, while new subscribers can sign up for three months at $62.99 a month before the price change. YouTube TV attributes the price increase to the rising cost of content and their continued investment in quality service. YouTube TV has undergone multiple price hikes since its launch in 2017. The 4K Plus add-on is experiencing a decrease to $9.99 a month from $19.99, with a promotional rate of $4.99 a month for new users who sign up for 12 months.
