The character actor known for his roles on TV and film, Lance Reddick, has passed away at the age of 60. He was known for playing intense and authoritative characters, such as Lt. Cedric Daniels on “The Wire,” special agent Phillip Broyles on “Fringe,” and Charon in the “John Wick” franchise. Reddick’s sudden death was attributed to natural causes, according to his publicist. Fellow actors Wendell Pierce and Keanu Reeves paid tribute to Reddick on social media, while “The Wire” creator David Simon described him as a devoted collaborator and loyal friend. Reddick, who was also a musician, attended Yale University drama school before becoming a successful actor in television and film. He is survived by his wife and two children.
