Good morning! The rain showers will come to an end and skies will clear, resulting in improvements throughout the morning. The afternoon will showcase lots of sunshine with a westerly wind of 5-15mph, making for great weather to enjoy Providence’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Although there could be a lingering shower late morning, the skies will clear through the parade, with temperatures reaching highs in the low 50s in Providence today. Tonight will be much cooler with overnight lows in the upper 20s, and Sunday afternoon will have a blend of sunshine and clouds with dry conditions and northwest winds of 10-20mph. Expect highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Spring will officially arrive on Monday at 5:24 PM EDT, but there is still a chance for snow through April and sometimes into May. -Meteorologist T.J.
