Middletown police are set to give an update Friday about the suspicious death of John Edward Corbett, 39, who was discovered at a West Main Road home earlier this week. Police were called to the home on Tuesday morning for a well-being check after friends and family reported not hearing from him for days. Corbett was a talented photographer from a highly respected family in Newport. The cause and manner of his death have not been released as yet. Detectives are requesting anyone with information to contact Detective Lieutenant Tim Beck.
