Over 350,000 electric heating blankets and pads are being recalled due to fire hazards, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recall is for Bedsure heating blankets and pads, as their controller can malfunction. Bedsure has received 137 reports of blankets and pads catching fire, burning, melting and overheating, causing 17 thermal burn injuries, including one report of second-degree burns. These products were sold in various sizes, colors, and styles on Amazon.com, with all of them having a white controller.
