Police in Dartmouth, Mass. have seized two firearms and more than 20 grams of suspected Fentanyl from a property on Fenton Street. Detective Kyle Costa confirmed that police executed a search warrant at the property, resulting in the discovery of a 9mm semi-automatic “ghost gun”, a .22 caliber revolver, and various ammunition. In addition to the firearms, police discovered over 1,000 bags of Fentanyl weighing around 21 grams, along with 47 grams of suspected Psilocybin, 25 ounces of suspected marijuana, 20 vials of suspected steroids, and $5,000 in cash. Derrick Paine was arrested on charges of two felony possession of firearms, possession of ammunition without firearms ID, trafficking of Fentanyl, possession of Class C, D, and E drugs. Dartmouth Chief of Police, Brian P. Levesque, said the hard work of detectives not only removed dangerous individuals from the community but also saved countless lives by removing deadly drugs and illegally possessed firearms from the streets.
