A cyclist was fatally hit by a car in Stonington, Connecticut earlier this week. The police have found the vehicle believed to be involved in the hit-and-run and it was discovered parked at a residence in town. The victim, identified as Gary Piver, was rushed to the hospital after the incident on South Broad Street late Monday night but he was later pronounced dead. It is yet to be determined if the owner of the vehicle is in custody or will face charges. The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
