In the early hours of Tuesday morning, officers responded to reports of shots fired into a home on Goldsmith Avenue. Three bullets were found to have hit the victim’s house. It was later discovered that there had been a domestic assault at the same address half an hour earlier. The victim claimed her boyfriend, Martinez, had assaulted her before taking her car and cell phone. Martinez has been charged with domestic simple assault and battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and larceny. The identity of the shooter remains unknown, and it is unclear if the incident is connected to the domestic assault.
