The Tori Lynn Andreozzi Foundation’s founder, Cathy Andreozzi, is one of the four local finalists celebrated by WPRI 12 during International Women’s Month. The foundation, which educates young people about decision-making, raises awareness of traumatic brain injury, and supports families coping with tragedy, was created following the horrific car crash involving Andreozzi’s daughter, Tori. In the wake of the accident, Tori suffered a severe brain injury and, after surviving the accident for almost two decades, passed away in 2022. WPRI 12 will feature one of its local finalists every Tuesday on TV, and all their stories will be posted on its website. The winner of the local competition will be considered for Nexstar’s Nationwide 2023 Woman of the Year award.
