Ann Nuenez from Warwick, Rhode Island expressed her delight when the Warwick Department of Public Works repaired the crosswalk lights on Main Avenue. For months, Nuenez had been attempting to contact the city about the broken lights, as crossing Main Avenue and Child Lane was hazardous. Nuenez likened crossing the intersection to the classic arcade game “Frogger”. After unsuccessful attempts to contact the city, Nuenez reached out to 12 Responds for assistance. 12 Responds contacted the DPW, who stated that they were unaware the lights were broken. Over the weekend, the DPW repaired both crosswalk lights, which left Nuenez overjoyed, making her feel safer.
