Police in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, are currently investigating a shooting that took place on Saturday night.
Officers were called to Hancock Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they discovered a man, whose identity has not been disclosed, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. While the injuries sustained are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
