A male suspect was arrested in Fall River, Massachusetts by the police for carrying an illegal gun and drugs.
The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Lamahrion Colson, has been charged with carrying a large-capacity firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession with intent to distribute a class A drug, and possession with intent to distribute a class B drug.
Acting upon a tip-off about a male carrying a firearm, detectives found and arrested Colson on Palmer Street. The suspect tried to flee but was captured by police officials.
The detectives discovered that Colson was carrying a handgun in his waistband, along with 17 bags of cocaine, seven bags of fentanyl, and $665 in cash.
Besides the gun and drug charges, police officials are also considering charging Colson under the armed career criminal statute.
