Former New England Patriots linebacker Willie McGinest has been charged with two felony counts for his alleged involvement in a brawl at a California restaurant in December. McGinest is facing one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury, with each charge carrying a maximum penalty of four years in prison. The 51-year-old was arrested on Dec. 19 after being caught on camera punching a man and later striking him with a bottle. McGinest, who won three Super Bowl championships during his 15-year NFL career with New England and has since been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, now works as an analyst with NFL Network but has been suspended pending the investigation. He is due to be arraigned on March 20.
