Applications are for those who enrol as full-time candidates for a degree program leading to the award of a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Juridical Studies, or one of the research Master’s degrees offered by the Sydney Law School.
Established 1970 by the Committee for Postgraduate Studies in the then Department of Law (now known as the Continuing Legal Education Committee). The scholarship objective is to encourage innovative legal research at the University of Sydney and is awarded based on academic merit and quality of the proposed program of research detailed in the application.
