The research group is looking for excellent candidates that are given the chance to participate in a European project (ERC). · The candidate will have to conduct high quality and independent research and should contribute to the coaching of students doing a master or doctoral study. · Candidates for this position have a PhD in Science (Mathematics or Physics) and a strong background in geometry and homological algebra. Experience in symplectic geometry, in particular in the field of Fukaya categories is an advantage. · Good communication/writing skills and a good mastery of the English language are essential.
The main research topics of the group are non-commutative algebraic geometry and homological algebra with particular interest in non-commutative deformations and questions related to symplectic geometry,Fukaya categories and mirror symmetry.
