Globul Fifth Scholarship Program, Bulgaria

GLOBUL and GERMANOS will officially launch their joint Scholarship Program 2010 during the Career Days forum at the Technical University of Sofia from November 16 to 17.
For the fifth consecutive year, GLOBUL will give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in real business environment, to improve their knowledge and to be offered a job in the company. GLOBUL will grant ten scholarships to talented students in the fields of Telecommunications & IT, Marketing, Law, Finance and Human Resources. This year the program will expand also to students from Sofia University, New Bulgarian University and University for National and World Economy besides students from Technical University of Sofia.
Students should be in their third or senior year with very good academic score and must speak fluent English. Personal resumes, motivation letters and a copy of their student’s record book must be sent to scholarship-at-globul.bg until December 20, 2010. Candidates may also submit their applications at the GLOBUL counter during the Career Days in the Technical University of Sofia.
Merit Erasmus Mundus 2011-2013 Scholarship for International Students
Scholarship Program for international students to pursue their postgraduate programmme in European institutions.
MERIT is a multi-track research oriented Master programme within the guidelines of the Bologna process whose scope is Information and Communication Technologies.MERIT is a European 2-year post-graduate programme taught in English at the following institutions:
- Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain
- Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden
- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), formerly University of Karlsruhe, Germany
-Politecnico di Torino (PdT), Torino, Italy
-Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Louvain, Belgium
MERIT Erasmus Mundus Category A student scholarships are addressed for highly qualified non-European students willing to study the MERIT programme in two of the above institutions beginning September 2011. The number of MERIT Erasmus Mundus Category A student scholarships for the MERIT course 2011-2013 has not yet been determined.

Advanced Academia Fellowship Programme for International Scholars(Social Sciences and the humanities), Bulgaria
The Centre for Advanced Study Sofia (CAS Sofia) announces a Call for Applications for its 2011/2012 In-Residence Advanced Academia Fellowships in the fields of the humanities and the social sciences.
Objective:
CAS Sofia is an independent Institute with international and multidisciplinary profile. Located in Sofia, Bulgaria, it promotes high-level scholarship in the social sciences and the humanities. In addition to supporting focus-group research, CAS Sofia invites outstanding scholars to pursue their individual research projects during in-residence periods of up to five months. The invited Fellows participate in the intellectual life and the scholarly community of the Centre (Bulgarian and foreign fellows) while working on projects of their own choice. Fellows receive adequate material and intellectual support and can profit from the Centre’s wide international networks, international seminar- and guest-lecturer programme. CAS Sofia assists Fellows in all practical matters concerning travel, residence and research in Sofia.
For the academic year 2011/2012 CAS Sofia provides in-residence fellowships of two- to five- month duration to post-doctoral non-Bulgarian researchers. Junior as well as Senior scholars are invited to apply.
