Applications are invited for full-time research scholarships, leading to PhD degree, in one of the following areas:

  • Development of Analog/RF/Mixed-signal integrated circuits and systems such as data converters, and PLL/DLL in state-of-the-art CMOS technology.
  • Modelling and development of nano-transistors and nano-devices.

The successful applicants will be part of a research group with access to industry- standard softwares and test facilities. The target of the research is to develop building blocks for future ultra-high-data-rate communication systems. The successful candidate will be enrolled into 3 year PhD program at the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the University of Melbourne, VIC, Australia. The research will be carried out in collaboration with National ICT Australia (NICTA), and other national and international research institutions. Previous experience in one the aforementioned areas, e.g. in the form of MSc thesis, is desired.
