The applicant should have a genuine interest in basic research in neurobiology and pharmacology. Documented experience of experimental work (FELASA or similar certification) and experience of laboratory work such as biochemical analysis and experiments with cell cultures is a merit. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, be well organized, possess good oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English and be proficient in basic computer programs. Documented knowledge within pharmacology is a prerequisite for the position. A degree from Pharmaceutical programs is a merit since the PhD position also includes teaching in Pharmacology, especially in neuropharmacology and drug dependence, at Pharmaceutical programmes.
