:-EES research scholarships are available to American citizens in the early stages of their academic careers (generally before tenure but after Ph.D.) or to scholars whose careers have been interrupted or delayed.

• Students can receive up to 2 OGS awards at the master’s level (the scholarship can be awarded for one or both of the first two academic years, but not after the second year) and up to 4 awards at the doctoral level (the scholarship can be awarded in any of the first five academic years but not after the fifth year)
