Eligibility:
Applications will be sought from students enrolled at either the University of Western Australia or Curtin University who:
- are undergraduate students studying science or science related courses, or postgraduate students with a science or science related degree;
- have an interest in communicating science ideas to others have initiative and creativity in making objects/materials that are science or technology related and;
- can work independently and as part of a group to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Additionally, applicants will need to confirm availability to work at the GDC during the tertiary vacation period from December to March following awarding of the scholarship. Travel to and from the GDC will be the responsibility of the scholarship winner; however onsite accommodation may be arranged at or nearby the Centre.
