2011 Chancellor’s Scholarship for Trinidad and Tobago at University of Kent, UK
Scholarship programme for the Applicants of Trinidad and Tobago at University of Kent in UK 2011
Through the generosity of the Chancellor of the University, Professor Sir Robert Worcester, we have been able to establish a scholarship in support of students from Trinidad and Tobago. The scholarship will be worth £1000 (for one year of study) towards the cost of tuition fees.
Hold a valid passport issued by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and be paying fees at the international rate.
Have satisfied the following conditions:
a.an application must have been made for a degree course at the University of Kent.
b.the applicant must have received an offer of a place on such a degree course.
c.the University must have received confirmation of the applicant’s acceptance of the offer.
d.the applicant must have demonstrated ability to fund their study programme.

University of Sheffield and UKEAS Announce China Merit Undergraduate Scholarships for Chinese Students 2011, UK

There are two China Merit Scholarships available for Chinese students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September 2011. Each scholarship is worth £6,500 of your undergraduate course tuition fee per year. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction. To be eligible for the China Merit Undergraduate Scholarship 2011 (£6,500), applicants must be a Chinese national or permanently domiciled in China, apply for a study place by Friday 24 June 2011 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2011. In commemoration of the invaluable contributions made by the late philanthropist Mr Tan Kah Kee, in the field of education, the Tan Kah Kee Foundation has been awarding Postgraduate Scholarship since 1983. The scholarships are open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are pursuing full-time Master degree or PhD in any discipline, regardless of race or religion. Candidates are appraised on their academic achievements, outstanding personal character and bilingual capabilities. The scholarship will be awarded annually and is bond-free. Are you a young person with a passion for wildlife? Do you want to use your energy and skills to make a difference to biodiversity conservation in India? The Ravi Sankaran Fellowship Program can help. This Program has been set up in memory of the late Dr. Ravi Sankaran who followed up his detailed field studies of wild species with innovative projects to conserve their populations.
The Program funds three major activities:
A Master’s degree at a university abroadAn internship with an organisation abroadA short conservation research or implementation project within India (in a Small Grants program)
What it covers: Fellowship recipients will receive a stipend, travel funds and an amount covering course fees (where relevant). The Small Grants activity provides funding up to a maximum of Rs 200,000 per year.
