Sertoma Organization offers Scholarship for Hard of Hearing or Deaf Students 2011-2012, USA
$1,000 scholarship to cover tuition, books and supplies. The funds may be used for any term, including the summer term, during the awarded academic school year. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support from the members of Sertoma and Oticon, Inc. All scholarship applications and requested materials must be received at Sertoma Headquarters by 4:00 pm Central Standard Time on May 1st each year. If the deadline falls on a weekend, the following Monday will be used as the deadline date. Sertoma will acknowledge receipt of applications by e-mail only. If you would like notification include your e-mail address on the application. We will not notify or acknowledge receipt of application by phone. Faxes are not accepted
Eligibility:
• Student must have a minimum 40dB bilateral hearing loss as evidenced on audiogram by an SRT of 40dB or greater in both ears.
• Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Must be either entering college on a full time basis or currently attending college on a full time basis at a college or university in the United States of America.

Scholarship in the field of Accounting by ACCA in UK-2011
The Simpson Scholarship exists to reward talented ACCA students who have already proven themselves to be of sufficient merit and distinction in ACCA examinations.
Each year, the Simpson Scholarship will fund the ACCA examination and registration fees of five students for a period of five years or until they become members – whichever happens first.In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must meet the qualification criteria and submit a 1,000 word essay.
1.You are registered as an ACCA student, and
2.You have paid your fees for the year ahead, and
3.You have no other fees outstanding, and
4.You have completed and achieved an average of 80% or more in the Knowledge module (Papers F1–F3) of the Fundamentals level of the ACCA Qualification – at your first attempt, or
5.If you have exemptions from the Knowledge module (Papers F1–F3) of the Fundamentals level, then you must have achieved 66% or more in at least two ACCA Qualification papers in the Fundamentals Skills module – at your first attempt, and
